Finsmith Sport Services
Our staff have had a long relationship with several fin-based watersports, including finswimming, sports lifesaving and octopush. As a result we can offer:
~ Fin-based sports coaching, biomechanical analysis and performance analysis,
~ Fin-based sports training sessions,
~ British Finswimming Association qualification schemes assessment and certification,
~ Risk assessments for fin-based watersports,
~ Finswimming equipment importation and manufacture.
Finsmith Sport Services (also known as the Finsmith Partnership) have been involved in organising coaching conferences, coaching courses and coaching assessments for the British Finswimming Association and coaching courses in competitive lifesaving for the British Universities Life Saving Clubs Association and the Royal Life Saving Society.

We have experience in setting up small networks, databases and other IT work, including not-certificated training on most MS Office packages and some specialist packages, such as ESRI's ARCGIS and ARCView.
Our IT services are offered under the Research and Investigation banner. Research and Investigation is a co-operative of individuals who work in different fields through out the world.
Wildlife Area Design, Conservation and Wildlife Research
Our team have a wide range of research in a range of conservation and wildlife research areas, as well having a huge range of contacts in the fields of Mammalogy, Marine Biology, Marine Archaeology, Dendrochronology, Butterfly Conservation, Sustainable Development and Climate Change research.
We have staff that have experience, at an international level, in conservation law and site design and management. We have advised on the designs of several Wildlife Areas.
The team has been involved in Marine Archaeology for a significant time, with our datasheets being used for artifact and diver management throughout the world. These include such sites as the Alderney Elizabethan Wreck Project, the Stirling Castle Project, the Gigilio Wreck Project, Cabo Verde Marine Archaeology Projects and many more.
