Why Ofmega?

To cyclists, design and function go together. Like the other great Italian component manufacturers (Campagnolo, Cinelli, 3ttt, Gnutti amongst others) Ofmega had design at the heart of their production.

Many of their components appeared to be very similar to those from Campagnolo from the same period. However, closer inspection will show that they were always different, with a different design ethic.

Some of their 1970s components were very innovative and very different. However, in the 1980s, they came into their own; the Mistral, Premier and Master groupsets set the standard for many modern ideas in bicycle components. The increadible Mistral derailleur range introduced high-grade plastics; the same resins that are now used for fibre-re-inforced products, ubiquitous through out cycling.

RWK Bicycles is building a large reference collection of Ofmega components. We have started by looking for many of their more innovative products.
